I am Paul Sadowski the part-time Title One Math Interventionist Teacher at the Sharon Elementary School. I have been at SES for the past eleven years.
I really enjoy my time at SES and I generally see each class k-4 as a whole once a week. Within that time I teach all students math at all levels but the focus is to assess for intervention needs and to design and implement interventions that will help students in need and use throughout the week and throughout their lives. The focus is always to look for hands-on approaches and often to make relevant math connections to the outdoors, to the garden, and to the students’ lives in general.
In addition to my interventionist work, I also work extensively with the gardens at SES and for the One Planet after school and summer programs, and I work with all three pre-k classes in the garden once a week in the spring and the fall.
Beyond my work at SES, I was a classroom teacher for 32 years in Hartford, Vermont where I taught a variety of grade levels. I also manage the ski school in Quechee, VT.
I have extensive gardens at my own house. I am often outdoors hiking and traveling all over the world.
