Dear Parents and Caregivers,

The Sharon PTO is a group of parents, caregivers, staff, and teachers meeting monthly to bring parents, teachers, staff, and caregivers together to enhance the educational experience of the Sharon children. Please consider joining the Sharon School PTO. It is free to do so; there are no dues to be a voting member of the Sharon PTO. Over the years, the PTO has used the money raised during fundraisers to buy new winter clothes for children in need in our community, to offer scholarships to kids so they can attend One Planet summer camp, to offer sports scholarships, to provide funds for the annual school book fair so all kids can participate, to support local author visits. We have fulfilled several requests from teachers, and provide funding for the 6th Graders for their annual trip. We also facilitate and organize a weeklong Teacher Appreciation Week, and have offered School Concert Dinners. This year, we are still working hard to support the school community during this very “different” time. We have organized a “Give Away, Take Away” with winter clothing via Zoom, purchased winter clothing for children in need, organized a “Pumpkin Parade”, and bought gifts for families during the holidays.

If you would like to get involved in all of these meaningful activities/projects, please join us at our monthly meetings to ensure your voice is heard.

Meetings are on the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm on Zoom until further notice.
