Meg Hopkins: Library and Flexible Pathways

Ms. Hop is the School Librarian and Flexible Pathways teacher. She has been teaching at Sharon Elementary since 2007. She taught Fourth grade for twelve years before transitioning into the Library in 2019. Ms. Hop has a BA from Salisbury University, a MEd from New England College, and a School Library Endorsement through UVM. She recently earned a Graduate Certificate in Neurodiversity and Learning Differences, with a specialization in Executive Function through Landmark College. Jeffrey Parry: Performing Arts
Jeffrey Parry

Born and raised in Vermont, Mr. Jeffrey Parry is a singer/songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist, and enjoys creating, performing and listening to all types of music. He is excited to continue teaching music in the Green Mountain State! Mr. Parry can be reached at jparry@wrvsu.org

Leah Fosco: Art
Leah and family

Leah Fosco teaches art at Sharon Elementary. She has always been an artist but hasn't always been an art teacher. She started her career at an educational nonprofit farm where she learned how to bottle-feed a lamb and milk a cow by hand.  She then worked for almost 10 years at a software company in Burlington, Vermont. She spent those years making art in her spare time and learned to find beauty in a well-organized spreadsheet. She has a BA from the University of Chicago and lives in the Upper Valley with her husband, daughters, chickens, cat, and an ever-expanding and very wild garden. She loves to knit, sew, read, and be active and outside. She is excited and inspired by the problem-solving that happens in art class. She can be reached at lfosco@wrvsu.org

Seth Whitaker: Physical Education
Seth

Seth was born and raised in the Upper Valley. He loves exploring our natural resources through foraging, hiking, kayaking, and rock hounding. He also enjoys gardening and caring for his chickens. He and his wife have a daughter, a dog named Rosie, and two cats named Oliver and Coco. He has previously taught at Thetford Academy for four years and is excited to join the Sharon community and working with you all!
