Deb Boles: Instructional Assistant

Deb has been a part of SES since 2012. She attended Lyndon State College and has completed several courses through CCV. She has taken a course on the iPact learning system and recently completed several classes learning the DI reading program.  She enjoys discovering new ways to help children learn. Deb has 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She has many “fur babies” and is a foster for Potter's Angels Rescue. She has fostered/saved around 50 dogs in the past 6 years. She enjoys reading, cooking, being with friends, going to the beach and doing just about anything that includes her grandkids. She can be reached at dboles@wrvsu.org

Erin Crowley: Instructional Assistant

Erin has been working in the Sharon School District since 2017. She originally started out as a substitute teacher, then moved onto a para position, from there she moved to pre-k as a classroom assistant and is now in kindergarten as the classroom assistant. Brittany Kelton: Instructional Assistant

Brittany Kelton started working at Sharon Elementary in 2020. She is a para educator and working on her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education to become a teacher. In her free time, Brittany enjoys gardening, riding horses, traveling, camping, practicing yoga and meditation, and riding her bike. She LOVES turtles. She can be reached at bkelton@wrvsu.org.

Linda Kent: Instructional Assistant

In 1996, Mrs. Kent left the nursing profession to join the staff at Sharon Elementary, when her two children were Sharon students. Currently she works closely with the Special Educator, teaching remedial math and reading while overseeing much of the SPED administrative duties. She has served as the school backup nurse when needed and is Level 2 certified in the Wilson Reading Program for dyslexic students. Toni Phillip: Special Education

Toni Phillip joined the SES team in 2000 and has since made it her home, teaching students reading, ‘riting and ‘rithmetic.  Toni graduated from Champlain College with a dual degree in Education and Special Education and a minor in Psychology.  She is certified for Wilson Reading and Direct Instruction. She recently completed her Masters in Education at UVEI. She grew up in Bethel and resides in Royalton, Vermont.  She has three grown daughters, Roselie, Eliza and Olivia Phillip.   She enjoys farming, gardening and spending time with family.  You can reach Toni Phillip at tphillip@wrvsu.org.

Carol Rogers: Instructional Assistant

Carol has been working at Sharon Elementary since 1997. She has worked in every classroom.  Her children went to Sharon Elementary and her granddaughter is currently there. She enjoys cooking, gardening,reading and spending time outdoors. You can reach Carol at crogers@wrvsu.org.

Katherine Roe: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Katherine joined the WRVSU in 2008 as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.  She visits five schools within the district, including Sharon. When not working, she gardens, volunteers, reads, trains a retired racehorse, and enjoys the company of her husband and three grown children. You can reach Katherine at kroe@wrvsu.org.

Maura-Lynne Strance: Counselor

Mrs. Strance joined Sharon Elementary in 2019 as the school counselor. Mrs. Strance teaches Social Skills to grades K-6 and works one on one and in small groups to work through social-emotional needs.  She has over 20 years in the field as a classroom teacher, Dean of Students and School Counselor.  Mrs. Strance earned a B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology from Saint Michael’s College and an M.S. in School Counseling from the College of St. Joseph.  She lives in Bethel with her husband, two sons, dog and cat.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family. Paul Sadowski: Compensatory Support

Paul has been at Sharon Elementary since 2009. He currently serves as a math co-teacher and coach.  Paul sees each class at least once a week and engages with the teachers and students in hands-on, relevant math applications that are related to what the class is covering at the time.  He also spends time with outdoor learning at the school and is often seen gardening and cooking with classes on the campfire. Paul also works with One Planet and he substitutes on his off days. Paul manages the ski school in Quechee and is a world traveler who loves gardening and hiking. Katie Stoeckle- School Nurse

Katie joined Sharon Elementary in 2022 as the school nurse. She moved to Vermont from Colorado in 2019, looking for a quiet place to raise a family and enjoy outdoor activities. She has been a nurse for 11 years, working in the hospital and in outpatient clinics. Prior to Sharon Elementary, she was a nurse at White River Family Practice for two and a half years. She has lived all over the country - Arizona, West Virginia, Michigan, Chicago, Colorado - but feels like she has really found a home here in Vermont and in Sharon. She has 2 kids in Sharon Elementary, a husband who is also a nurse, and a dog at home. When not at school, she enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and pretty much any outdoor activity.
