One Planet Afterschool Program

The One Planet afterschool program at Sharon Elementary School is seeking high energy, creative individuals to fill two teaching assistant positions. The teaching assistant role is a daily, hands-on position, working directly with students in grades K-6 in the after school hours from 3-5:30 pm. Duties include working with and supervising students, set up and clean up, preparing and serving a healthy snack, and assisting our site coordinator with regular program activities. Minimum starting rate $16/hr; increased rate available depending on experience.

Aftercare Employee

2026-2027 School Year

Sharon Elementary School is seeking an aftercare employee to work in our Pre-K program for the 2026-2027 school year.

This position will be from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm daily. Aftercare takes place from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Between the hours of 11:30 am and 3:00 pm, the candidate will assist with Pre-K staff break coverage and various Pre-K classroom duties and support. The ideal candidate will have experience and knowledge of the social-emotional development of children ages 3-5. This is a child-centered program where art, outdoor play, math, and literature are valued. A focus on restorative practices and social/emotional learning is a must.
